The action strategy of the UNIVERSEH Consortium assumes increasing the mobility of students and research staff as well as promoting collaboration between universities. The implementation of the project will help the partner universities adapt their education offer to current market needs. The possibility of exchanging experience and contacts with the space industry will contribute to the creation of pioneering degree courses.
AGH UST will develop education, science and technologies related to space exploration and exploitation. One of AGH UST’s first undertakings under UNIVERSEH was the establishment of the Space Technology Center (CTK) in November 2020. This new research and teaching unit, whose originator was Professor Jerzy Lis, AGH UST Rector, will deal with, among others, the development of research and education in the field of space engineering.
Project Partners
Together with our European partners, we will work to create a network of space universities. Developing disciplines that go beyond the planet Earth is the development strategy for the best universities in the world. This motivates us to contribute to furthering the discipline of the future, which is space and its better understanding. We are now entering the second century of the AGH UST’s activity with ambitious plans to develop advanced technologies of the space sector.

The UNIVERSEH project is an excellent opportunity for us to work in an international team of space researchers. The role of space research is bound to grow rapidly in the near future. Technologies based on space solutions will contribute to improving the quality of human life. Space resources will satisfy our daily needs, but first we need is to understand space and its role. UNIVERSEH is an opportunity to exchange good practices in education and research among the partner universities. The project outcomes will help us educate engineers of the future.
